The performance of your clutch and flywheel, gearbox and differentials can make all the difference to the performance of your car and in some applications, the reliability of your set up. At ZEN Performance we can supply and fit a range or uprated parts tested ourselves, or just standard parts for those requiring competitive maintenance of mostly standard cars.

We specialise in the fitting of a number of uprated gearbox solutions for your Subaru gearbox. From helical synchromesh gear kits that drive almost like the factory gearbox, to dog engagement gear kits for drag racing or motorsport use - we have the solution for the fragile standard Subaru gearbox.

Once you have a gearbox able to stand the rigours of drag racing or tree snapping torque, you can look at the options for your clutch and other elements of the drivetrain.

PPG

Pfitzner Performance Gearbox (PPG) are an Australian company and produce a range of gearbox kits for use in race, rally and street applications. They are serious technologists: their gears have a distinctive tooth profile, making them tough and hard wearing. Combined with sophisticated heat treatments of well chosen materials, PPG gear sets are an excellent choice for a strong, reliable and effective gearbox upgrade.

EXEDY

Exedy have been manufacturing clutch assemblies for over 75 years. For high-powered applications, EXEDY offers twin and triple Multi-Plate Clutches. These are designed for hot street action as well as drag, road and rally racing.

This gear kit uses the existing 5th gear. Recommended for more powerful specification vehicles, for fast road and moderate track/drag use. Synchro kits have a distinctive whine, although retaining the factory 5th gear means quiet motorway cruising.

This gear kit uses the existing 5th gear. Recommended for the most powerful specification vehicles, for fast road and hard track/drag use.

Synchro kits have a distinctive whine, although retaining the factory 5th gear means quiet motorway cruising. Dog engagement gearboxes require very positive gear changes. Dog boxes are advantageous for competition use because they provide for clutchless gear changes.

This clutch offers excellent value for money as a standard / OE replacement. It is suitable for mildly modified vehicles used for occasional drag and track. This price does not include a replacement release bearing.
